Norwegian Mountain Cabins operates nmcabins.com. If you have a privacy question, please use the contact form on our homepage.
Contact form
When you send us a message, we receive the name, email address, subject, message and language that you enter. We use this information to answer your enquiry and, where relevant, to handle a booking that follows from it. The form is delivered through FormSubmit to our booking inbox. FormSubmit may process technical information needed to transmit the form and protect it against abuse. We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep enquiries
We keep correspondence only for as long as reasonably necessary to answer your enquiry, manage any resulting booking, resolve follow-up questions and meet applicable legal or accounting requirements.
Analytics cookies
Google Analytics is optional on this website. It is not loaded unless you choose “Accept analytics”. If accepted, Google Analytics may set cookies such as _ga to help us understand aggregated website usage. Your consent choice is stored locally in your browser so we can remember it. You can change your choice at any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer.
Bookings, payments and external services
Direct-booking links take you to Houfy, and card payments for direct bookings are processed through Stripe. We do not collect or store your card details on nmcabins.com. Links to Airbnb, Instagram, Facebook and other external services take you to their websites, where their own privacy terms apply.
Legal basis and your rights
We process contact-form information to respond to your request and, where relevant, to take steps connected with a possible booking. Optional analytics is based on your consent. Depending on applicable data-protection law, you may ask for access, correction or deletion of your personal data, object to or request restriction of certain processing, and withdraw analytics consent at any time. You may also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information handled through the website, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
